AI for dental practices & DSOs

You run the practice. We run the AI.

Your overdue list stops being a stack of sticky notes. BrightChair shows you every patient who is past due, writes each one a message with their name, their provider and the service they're actually overdue for, and you send the batch in one sitting. It's not an EHR and it doesn't touch your PMS.

How it works

Your recall list shouldn't live in someone's head.

The backlog isn't a mystery — it's a list nobody has time to work. BrightChair does the part that eats the afternoon: finding who's due and writing what to say to each of them. Your front desk still presses send.

Front desk blocks out an afternoon, calls 20 overdue patients, leaves 15 voicemails.
The overdue list is already sorted by how long. Every message is already written, with that patient's name, provider and overdue service in it. Tick the ones you want and send the batch.
Treatment plan presented. Patient says "I'll think about it." Nobody ever circles back.
They stay on the board with the plan attached, so the follow-up is a two-minute job instead of an archaeology project. You choose when it goes.
A patient replies to a recall text and it lands in somebody's personal phone.
Replies come back into the patient's own thread in BrightChair, attached to their record — so anyone at the desk can pick it up.

Said plainly: BrightChair finds and writes. A human at your desk sends. Scheduled, unattended sending is on the build list and is not in the product today — the recall screen says so too. If a page ever tells you otherwise, the page is wrong.

Features

Everything a dental front desk needs. In one tool.

Built for general dentistry, orthodontics, specialty practices, and DSOs.

Nobody has to work the overdue list by hand

Set your recall interval once. BrightChair sorts every patient by how far past due they are and writes each one their own message. Your desk reviews the batch and sends it — in minutes, not an afternoon of voicemails.

"I'll think about it" stops disappearing

Patients who were shown a plan and didn't book stay on a list with the plan attached, so following up is a two-minute job. Say the intent — post-crown care, broken appointment, hygiene overdue — and the message comes back written for you to send.

Replies come back to the practice, not to a personal phone

A patient answers and it lands in their own thread inside BrightChair, next to their record. Whoever is at the desk can pick it up. No screenshots forwarded around, nothing lost in someone's texts.

You stop forgetting to ask for the review

After a visit, the ask is already written with the patient's name and what they came in for, ready to send with your Google link in it. It goes when someone at the desk sends it — never on its own.

🔄

The patients who quietly stopped coming get found

Filter your list to anyone last seen 12, 18 or 24 months ago — the people nobody thinks to call because they aren't on any schedule. Write the batch once, review it, send it.

One screen instead of opening the PMS

Today's schedule, who's overdue, and what's been sent — in one view you can read from the front desk without a PMS login. It's read-only reporting: BrightChair never writes back into your practice software.

Straight answers, before you put a card in.

Where the answer is "not yet," we say that.

Do I have to rip out Dentrix?
No — and you couldn't if you wanted to. BrightChair never writes into your PMS. You export a patient list from Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Carestream or Open Dental and bring it in. Your practice software carries on untouched.
Will it text my patients on its own?
No. Nothing leaves BrightChair without someone at your desk pressing send. Unattended scheduled sending is on the build list and isn't in the product today. We would rather under-promise this one than surprise a patient.
What if the AI writes something wrong?
You see every message before it goes and you can edit any of it. Names, dates of birth, phone numbers and addresses are stripped out before the text reaches the AI and put back afterwards, so the model never sees who the patient is.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
We won't claim a certification we don't hold. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and identifiers are scrubbed before any AI call. There is no completed SOC 2 attestation and no BAA process in place yet — if you need a signed BAA today, wait for us, or don't buy.
Who does the setup?
Steve does, with you, on a call. We have no customers yet, so you get the person who wrote the code rather than a queue. That's not a perk we can offer forever — it's just true right now.
Can I cancel?
Month to month, no annual contract, cancel from your account page. 14 days free first. Export your patient communication history and settings on the way out.
Your first week

What actually happens after you sign up.

Including the parts a human has to do. There is no integration project here.

1️⃣

Day 1 — a call with Steve

Twenty minutes. He gets your recall interval, your providers, and your Google review link, and walks the export out of your PMS with you. You do not have to work out the CSV on your own.

2️⃣

Day 1 — your list loads

The patient list comes in and BrightChair immediately shows you who is overdue and by how long, sorted worst-first. Nothing is sent yet — this screen is just the backlog, in order.

3️⃣

Day 2 — your first batch

Pick ten patients. Read the ten messages it wrote. Change the wording until it sounds like your practice — it keeps your tone from there. Press send once. That's the whole workflow you'll use every week.

4️⃣

The rest of the week — replies

Answers land in each patient's thread inside BrightChair, next to their record, where whoever is on the desk can pick them up. Nothing goes to a personal phone. Nothing goes out that a person didn't send.

Questions, answered.

Does BrightChair integrate with my practice management software?

Not directly, and it never writes back into it. You export a patient list from Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Carestream or Open Dental and bring the file in — Steve will do that with you on the setup call. A native two-way integration does not exist today.

Is patient data secure?

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, and patient names, dates of birth, phone numbers and addresses are stripped out before any text reaches the AI. What we will not tell you is that we are HIPAA certified — we hold no attestation and have no BAA process running today. If a signed BAA is a condition of purchase for you, we are not ready for you yet.

How do patients receive recall messages?

A message goes when someone at your desk sends it — BrightChair never messages a patient on its own. It lands in that patient's thread, and their reply comes back to the same place inside BrightChair rather than to anyone's personal phone. Scheduled unattended sending is on the build list and is not in the product today.

Will automated messages sound impersonal?

You decide. Each message is written with that patient's name, their provider and the specific service they are overdue for — then you read it and change anything you want before it goes. Edit a few and it keeps your practice's wording from there.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Month-to-month, no annual contract. Export your patient communication history and configuration before you leave.

Lapsed patients are sitting in your list right now.

BrightChair finds them and writes each one their message. Your desk presses send. 14 days free, no setup fee, and Steve does the first import with you.
